Seniors Catie Glorioso and Victoria Gagliano are two of 64 juniors and seniors inducted into the National Honor Society in September. The ceremony and reception, held in Alumnae Hall, officially welcomed the new members into the prestigious honor society.
Beginning in their junior year, Dominican students with a 3.75 cumulative GPA can apply to join National Honors Society. The chosen inductees exemplify outstanding grades, disciplinary records and service work.
According to NHS moderator Mrs. Mazie Stewart, the National Honor Society opens up scholarship opportunities for its members.
“It is such an exciting honor to be inducted into NHS,” said Gagliano. “I can’t wait to see what opportunities it will bring as I move on to my next step in life.”
